Oi! Keep your fingers out of my soup!

Experts called for cooler temps this week in Waco, but that really hasn’t happened. We’re still hitting the 80s in November, which is ... well, great actually. No matter, it is my plan to indulge in a variety of warming, hearty soups right now, even if I have to turn on a fan.

First up: another VWAV (Vegan with a Vengeance) recipe — Potato and Asparagus. Garlic and onion beat the bland out of this humble soup. I threw in carrots for good measure and now I’ve got a fat pot of green-orange greatness filling my fridge.

So weather forecasters be damned! The bowls and ladle are out and I’ve got a big stack of crackers.

i'm beginning to think that all you do is sit (or stand) at home all day and labor over a hot stove. or you've finally found a way to slow down time. either way...you're making me hungry.

Definitely standing. I live next to a radiation emitting Catholic Church and a toxic waste spewing POH-lice Dept. Both have given me superpowers. With great power comes great responsibility.

Damn, I definitely have been watching too many episodes of "Heroes" on DVD.

I freaking love watching "Heroes" on DVD. I'm almost sad I'm all caught up.

Cool blog.

Yeah, I can't believe how quickly I got wrapped up in "Heroes." It's soooooo good. Fortunately I have three more discs before I'm done with Season One.

Season One of Heroes is still sitting on top of my dvd player..unopened. perhaps you can teach me your time slowing ways. actually, they're building an asphalt plant about a block down the street from me. think that'll help? i have, however, watched the Old School Sesame Street (1974-1979) that i bought last week. priorities...man. i don't remember The Count being that creepy. he seemed rather...excited...about counting street lights.

I read a review on the "Sesame" DVD set. I think it'd be cool to check it out. However, I'm afraid it might destroy fond memories (Count, for example, ah, ah, ah!). That, and I can't remember how to get to Sesame Street.

You know...I have a Sesame Street vhs AND the "platinum collection" cd if you ever need a fix.

Awesome. I wanna borrow the Platinum Collection, jump in my car, roll down all the windows, jack up the bass, roll through East Waco and blast "The People In Your Neighborhood" and "C is for Cookie."
