Truer words have never been sung

Apparently, returning to Texas has awakened a long dormant appreciation for country, rootsy rock, folk and bluegrass — preferably the kind without field and stream mammals on jug, washboard or wash-tub bass. Still, don't expect to see me at Willie's upcoming Waco stop. I'm not that guy and I never will be. No, sir, right now I'm just playing a lot of Lucinda Williams, Drive-By Truckers and spinning this debut disc by the SteelDrivers, a promising Nashville group chockful of industry veterans with satchel of experience and accolades who just make good music. Props to my Pops for hipping me to 'em. I couldn't find a pro quality video to "share," but you can see more of them here and over here, too
